- Description
- The type of primary computer systems to be maintained are as follows: Microvax II, Vax 6000 Series, Vax 4000 Series, Vaxstations, Decservers, Alphastations, Vax 8500 Series and other associated DEC manufactured peripherals. Services shall include remedial and preventive maintenance as well as installation of field engineering changes, to include updating diagnostic routines and documenting and briefing the contract manager on operational changes. Maintenance covers all peripherals interfaced with the computer systems listed above. Term of the contract shall be a base and five option years. Proposals from all responsible sources shall be considered. Award is anticipated to be made by 1 October 2003. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren Laboratory Procurement Division is implementing Electronic Commerce (EC) in the acquisition area, therefore synopsi s and resulting solicitation with any applicable amendments will be available on the Worldwide Web at http://www.nswc.navy.mil/wwwDL/XD/SUPPLY/busop.htm Solicitations and amendments will only be available at the above Web Site. Hard copies WILL NOT be provided. Vendors should regularly access the NSWCDD Web Site to ensure they have downloaded all amendments.
