- The National Park Service is soliciting quotations for installation of a new roof on Building No. 127, the historic Crabtree Meadows Gas Station, located on the Blue Ridge Parkway, Milepost 339.5, Little Switzerland (McDowell County), North Carolina. The roof area including the porch roof over the driveway is approximately 1460 square feet. The work includes removing and disposing of existing concrete shingles; installing new 40-year architectural grade asphalt shingles; replacing damaged structural components and sheathing; repointing chimney; removing old gutters and downspouts; installing new wooden gutters and downspouts including liners. Estimated price range is $25,000 to $100,000. NAICS Code is 238190. Small business size standard is $12 million.
