Description

NA The renovation of Hangar 285 is generally converting the southwest bay of the building from an administrative area back into a maintenance bay. Work also includes upgrading all three maintenance bay selected systems and areas, including Mechanical, Electr ical and Fire Protection/Detection Systems, to meet applicable codes and regulations and construct new facilities. Fire Suppression will include a low level high expansion foam system. Mechanical work includes boiler replacement, addition of radiant heat and other miscellaneous work. Electrical work will include essentially replacing all of the existing power distribution equipment, conduit and wiring up to and including end devices in all three hangar bays. Work will also include the abatement of exist ing asbestos (transite) wall panels. Estimated cost range of this project is $5,000,000 to $10,000,000. Plans and specifications will be available on/or about August 1, 2003, and will be provided on Compact Disk (CD-ROM). THE NUMBER OF CD-ROMS WILL BE L IMITED TO ONE (1) PER FIRM. Plans, specifications, and planholders lists will not be provided in a printed hard copy format.
