Description

NA Please read this entire announcement for updated information. If you have already registered, do not submit duplicate registrations. All previous registrants have been maintained in the database set up for this project. Project includes the design and construction of a Vehicle/Pallet Facility and Staging Area, approximately 34,000 SF, complete with required utilities, communications, electric, HVAC, fire protection, alarm system, IDS, EMCS and force protection measures. S ite work shall include paving, walks, curbs, gutters, storm drainage, parking, access roads, exterior lighting, site improvements, grading and landscaping. The Request for Proposals (RFP) will be evaluated on the following criteria, listed in descending o rder of importance: 1)Past Performance; 2)Past Experience; 3)Technical Approach and 4) Price, which is equal to all other evaluation factors combined. The project includes 5 options, as follows: Option 1) Pallet scale with lift and Platform Pit for Lane #4; Option 2) Pit with K-Loader Scissor Lift for Lane #4; Option 3) Pallet scale with lift and Platform Pit for Lane #2;Option 4) Pit with K-Loader Scissor Lift for Lane #2 and Option 5) Second Floor Administrative Spaces, including windows, HVAC, Electric al, etc. SBA has determined that competition will be restricted to certified SBA Regions 2 and 3, which include New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware. The estimated cost range is $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. The NAICS is 236220. Solicitation DAC A27-03-R-0011 will be issued o/a 22 July 2003, with proposals due on 21 August 2003 at 4:30 p.m. (local time). The plans and specifications will be available on CD ROM and the Internet. Project files are Portable Document Format (PDF) files and can be vi ewed, navigated or printed using Adobe Acrobat Reader. The drawings are in CAL format and can be viewed, navigated or printed using Source View Reader. Both readers are contained in the solicitation package. Systems requirements are: 486-based personal computer, Microsoft Windows 3.1 or greater, 8 MB application RAM, 4 MB hard disk space and compact disk drive.
