- *********Modification 0001************ This modification is issued to extend the proposal due date from Friday 18 July to 23 July, Wednesday, at 4:30 PM eastern time. ************ Modification 0001**************This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation number F1384331630100 is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-14. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small businesses. The associated NAICS code is 337211 with a 500 employee size standard. Contractors shall submit a lump sum proposal and sketch or technical drawings for all labor and materials included in this project. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Contractor will deliver and install 1 ea custom built Front Desk/Counter, 1 ea Lectern, 1 ea Curio Cabinet, 1 ea Telephone Cabinet, 1 ea Refrigerator/Fax Cabinet, and 1 ea Cork Bulletin Board to Charleston AFB SC. The desk/counter will measure 187 inches long by 36 inches wide by 42 inches tall. The lectern will measure 26 inches long by 22 inches wide by 42 inches tall. The curio cabinet will measure 28 inches long by 9 inches wide by 80 inches tall. The telephone cabinet will measure 39 ? inches long by 22 inches wide by 42 inches tall. The refrigerator/ fax cabinet will measure 40 inches long by 18 ? inches wide by 36 inches tall. The cork bulletin board will measure 60 inches long by 36 inches tall, the cork measuring to a ? by 2 inch thick frame. These are the total dimensions of the space for these items. Individual designs may have variations, but cannot exceed these dimensions. All items are to be made of ? inch Maple plywood. The desk/counter is to have two flush display cabinets with glass shelves and lighting, accessible from the rear, solid wood back. The cabinet interiors are to be made of plywood, solid wood, and laminate. All items will have a Solid Maple face frame. The door style is sliding tempered glass. The drawer style is Solid Maple Slab Overlay. The rollers are to be glass, side mounted. The hinges are to be concealed. The knobs are to be brass. The finish will be Dark Cherry stain, sprayed lacquer. The countertop will be a Corian top, WilsonArt Gibraltar OR EQUAL. A mandatory site visit will be conducted on Friday, 11 July 2003 at 10:00 a.m. All contractors shall meet on the second floor of bldg 503, Charleston AFB.
