- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F1A51131900500 and is hereby issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-14. This notice is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The associated NAICS code is 333913 and the small business size standard is 750 employees. Request a quote on the following item: 500 each, military type folding cot, heavy-duty aluminum frame, green, approximately 75" x 26" x 16". Items are to be delivered FOB destination to HQ AFSOC/CEX, Attn: Eugene Widener, 00 Bartley Street, Hurlburt Field FL 32544 for inspection and acceptance by an authorized government official. The following clauses and provisions are incorporated either by reference or full text and are to remain in full force in any resultant contract: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial. The following addenda is included: Add (b)(12), each offeror shall submit their signed and dated offer (signed by an official authorized to bind your organization in a contract) in one original copy to 16th Contracting Squadron, Attn: 2d LT Richard Bremer, P.O. Box 9190, 350 Tully Street, Hurlburt Field FL 32544; FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation--Commercial Items. All quotes will be evaluated solely on price. The Government will award a contract to the responsible offeror whose offer is confirming to the solicitation and will be most advantageous to the Government. Quotations shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items, with its quotation. Failure to do so may result in your proposal to be considered non-responsive. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions--Commercial Items, applies with the following addendum: DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration. Registration with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) is mandatory. Clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders--Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause FAR 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer-Central Contractor Registration is applicable. Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS) provisions and clauses are also incorporated either by reference or full text and are to remain in full force in any resultant contract. All FAR clauses and provisions can be reviewed and/or obtained via the Internet at http://farsite.hill.af.mil. Quotes are due on 25 Jul 2003 at 3:00PM Local time and must indicate the reference number for identification purposes. Faxed or e-mailed quotations will be accepted.
