- 311 HSW/YASK will be issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a Body Assembly, Quick Disconnect (Next Higher Assembly -Crew Member Torso Harness). Multiple year contracting is not applicable to this buy. These items are Sole-Source to H Koch and Sons of Anaheim, Ca, 92807 NSN 1670-01-464-1940MH; P/N 990010-1; Quantity 441 ea. Data required is Product Drawings and Associated Lists in accordance with DD Form 1423. Form/Fit/Function: Disconnects Parachute From Harness Size/Dimensions: 2.3 in X 2.1 in X 1.2 in. Predominate Matl: Stainless Steel. Anticipated solicitation date for Request for Proposal is 25 July 03 with a solicitation closing date of 25 Aug 03. Anticipated award date is estimated to be after closing/response date of the solicitation but no later than 30 Sep 03. As previously stated, acquisition will be processed in accordance with FAR 6.301-1/10 USC 2304(C)(1) "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." "The Quick Release Body Assembly is proprietary to H. Koch and Sons." Note #22 applies.
