- Description
- The U.S. Coast Guard has a need for temporary housing for reservists called up for active duty. This requirement will be for the states of Calif., Wash., and Alaska. The temporary housing be acquired under the authority of FAR Part 12, commercial. The solicitation will be issued on or about July 30, 2003. The solicitation will be issued via Electronic Posting System at www.eps.gov under Vendors, DHS, United States Coast Guard, Commander (fcp) USCG Maintenance and Logistics Command ? Pacific, Alameda, CA. Telephone requests for solicitation package will not be taken. The NAIC code is 721110, with a sz std of $6,000,000. ATTENTION: Minority, Women-owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), has a program to assist minority, women-owned and disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receiving financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.00.
