- NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are be ing requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. We have a requirement for the removal and replacement of 1500 ft of chain link fence to include gates (no barbed wire required). The actual length for the new fence will be the responsibility of the contractor to determine. A rough drawing and specifications for the fence are available online at our website, http://www.wsmr.army.mil/docpage/pages/sol_stat.htm. An on-site visit is scheduled for 17 July 2003 to allow further assessment. Any interest ed contractors must please meet at building 143 by 8:00 am. If you intend to be at the site visit please notify Orlando Hemandez no later than 2:30 pm the day before. Mr. Hemandez may be reached at the email address below or at (505) 678-1647. Delivery is required within 90 days of contract award. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-14 dated 23 Jun 2003. This requirement is set-aside 100% for small business. The appl icable NAICS code is 332323 with a size standard of 500 employees. Your price shall be FOB destination. Inspection and acceptance shall be at destination. We prefer to make payment by VISA credit card. If you do not accept VISA, you must be registered in t he Central Contractor Registration (http://www.ccr.gov/). Award shall be made to the responsible, eligible contractor who offers the lowest price. From the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), the following provisions and clauses are applicable to this so licitation: FAR 52.212-1, FAR 52.212-3, FAR 52.212-4, FAR 52.212-5, (52.203-6 Alt I, 52.219-14, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.232-33, 52.232-36).
