Description

The United States Marshals Service (USMS) has a requirement for towing, storage, maintenance, and disposal of seized and forfeited vehicles in the District of Massachusetts. The vehicles will include production sized cars, trucks, vans, motorcycles, etc. It is the intent of the USMS to award a commercial item contract with a contract term of a base year and 4 one-year options, for a total of 5 years. It is intended that this solicitation will be unrestricted. It is anticipated that solicitation number MS-03-Q-0009 will be issued on or about March 6, 2003. The estimated response time is April 4, 2003. The solicitation will be distributed through the General Services Administration's Electronic Posting System (EPS) web site: http;//www.eps.gov. The EPS prvides downloading instructions. Also, requests for copies of the solicitation can be made in writing. All future information about thsi solicitation, including amendments, will be distributed solely through the EPS website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the EPS website to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (13-FEB-2003). IT ACTUALLY FIRST APPEARED ON THE FEDBIZOPPS SYSTEM ON 10-JUL-2003.
