- Description
- The National Imagery and Mapping Agency (NIMA) intends to award a sole source procurement to McCreight and Company. NIMA has a need to procure consulting services in support of the newly formed NIMA Strategic Transformation Office (STO). The purpose of this effort is to gain the expertise of commercial industry in the areas of organizational strategy development and implementation. Work will include consulting services to complete the development of NIMA?s Corporate Strategy, Enterprise Operating Framework, and a Strategy Implementation Timeline and Action Plan. McCreight is the only source that can perform these services due to their knowledge of NIMA?s Strategic Intent, previous transformation plans and initiatives such as the Corporate Transformation Business Plan, and the results of the NIMA Transformation Report produced by the National System for Geospatial Intelligence (NSGI) Enterprise Transformation Product Team (NETIPT), which was chartered in May 2002. Further, due to previous work performed by McCreight and Company in support of the STO they possess current knowledge of NIMA?s mission, functions, business strategies, current operating construct, and understand the organization?s role with the Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of Defense. Having any other vendor perform these services would cause a delay of approximately six months to the government for the new contractor to develop the technical expertise comparable to McCreight and Company. This is a synopsis of intent to award a firm fixed price contract under FAR Part 12 - Commercial Items. The authority for sole source procurement is FAR 6.302-1(a), 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Responsible sources that are interested in this procurement may respond by providing clear and convincing information that identifies their ability to provide the product.
