Description

Marine Corps Systems Command intends to modify Contract number M67854-03-C-2006 with the Canadian Commercial Corporation (General Dynamics Canada Ltd.) for MESHnet support of various Marine Air Command and Control Systems (MACCS). Currently MESHnet equipment is embedded in the Air Defense Communication Platform (ADCP), Communications Interface System (CIS), and the Communication Air Support Central (CASC). The current contract is for ten (10) sets of MESHnet equipment, including engineering services, training and maintenance as it relates directly to MESHnet employed in the Direct Air Support Central, Airborne System (DASCAS). General Dynamic Canada is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and owns all related proprietary data and drawings. The contract modification will include MESHnet equipment to support the ADCP and the CDLS programs. The new purchase will include six (6) UDBs and twenty four (24) UCDs that will be required for the Air Defense Communications Platform Enhancement Package (ADCPEP) and four (4) UCDs that are required for the Communications Data Link System (CDLS). MESHnet equipment will interface with the recently fielded MESHnet based MACCS. This will allow the MACCS to continue to achieve a uniform communications platform baseline that has been established in the Communications Air Support Central (CASC) AN/TSQ-207, Communications Interface System (CIS) AN/MRQ-12, and Air Defense Communications Platform (ADCP)AN/MSQ-124.
