- Description
- Solicitation N62836-03-Q-0705. Planned due date: 19 August 03. Purchase of 3 each fire truck for Yokosuka and Sasebo at the U.S. Forces, Japan. The Fire Trucks shall be equipped with a minimum of a 1,000 GPM, two state of fire pump, mid-ship mounted and driven by the vehicle engine. Diesel engine driven, right hand drive two wheels front, four wheels on single rear axle, with a minimum 5-man, four-door crew cab and chassis with a gross vehicle weight of at least 10,000 kg. It shall include a 500 gallon water tank, a 100 gallon foam tank, three transverse hose beds, a main supply hose bed, one right side operator?s control panel for the fire pump, equipment compartments, foam system and other such equipment accessories. Vehicle and furnished accessories shall comply with Japanese Motor Vehicle Standards in effect on the date of manufacture. Requirement for warranty services in Japan. RFQ issue date o/a 1 August 03. Delivery requirements: 215 calendar days from date of each order after award; FOB destination. The items under this procurement are subject to an Agreement on Government Procurement approved and implemented in the United States by the Trade Agreements Act of 1979.
