- NA The Philadelphia District intends to award a sole source contract/order under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1) to Caterpiller, Incorporated for the purchase of a bucket attachment , technical services, a winterization package for same and technical servi ces (assembly, set-up and training of personnel) for a Caterpiller Excavator, Model 375MH, owned by the Government. The purchase action is available on the District??????s Web page as Request for Quote (RFQ) No. DACW61-03-T-0076. Hard copies will not be available and written or fax requests will not be accepted. Interested firms may download this RFQ (including drawings) and all amendments from the web page at the following address https://ebs.nap.usace.army.mil on or after the issue date of the RFQ whic h is 7/11/03. The official media of distribution for the RFQ is the Web. Any amendments to this RFQ will be posted to the Web page at the above address. It is the offeror??????s responsibility to monitor the web page for any amendments. Interested firm s must register on the Internet Web page. If any of the contractor??????s information changes during the advertisement period, contractors are responsible to make changes to their user profile on the Internet Web Page. Failure to make changes in their us er profile may cause for delay in receiving notification of the RFQ and Amendments. Interested firm are responsible for printing copies of the RFQ and any amendments. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered not later than Jul y 25, 2003. The NAICS code is 333120 and the small business size standard is 750 employees. Bonding is not required. All contractors are required to be registered in the DODs Central Contract Register before award as required by DFARS 204.7300. Informa tion on getting registered may be obtained by phoning 1-888-227-2423 or by accessing the following internet website: http://www.ccr.gov. Also, contractors who receive a federal contract of $25,000.00 are required by legislation to submit an annual VETS-1 00 Report on your employment of targeted veterans.
