- NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are b eing requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The combined synopsis/solicitation number is DAAD05-03-T-0101. Requirement is for Boots for the Polish Peacekeeping Mission to Iraq. E-mail the Contract Specialist identified below for a list of required items. This requirement is FOB destination. ITEMS MUST BE DELIVERED NO LATER THAN 16 AUG 03. Delivery location will be either New Cumberland, PA or Mechanicsburg, PA. The exact delivery address will be provided prior to award. Offerors ar e encouraged to submit offers for as much of the items as they can deliver by 16 Aug 03. The Government may make multiple awards in order to obtain the required quantity by the required delivery date. Offerors are encouraged to submit alternative deliver y schedules, to provide the Government with flexibility should no one offeror be able to meet the required quantities by the required delivery date. NOTE: Offerors shall bid on the listed National Stock Numbers (NSNs). However, for outerwear which the NS N specifies the color as green, offerors must provide desert camouflage. The provisions at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors??????Commercial, and 52.212-2 , Evaluation-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Offers will be evaluated based on pric e and delivery schedule. While price is a significant factor, delivery is more important than price. A completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications??????Commercial Items, must be provided with offers. The claus es at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions??????Commercial Items, and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders??????Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
