- Non-Personal services to manage, operate and maintain the combined (7) Postal Service Centers (PSC) and Base Information Transfer Center (BITC) services for Lackland AFB TX, Lackland Annex, and Kelly USA for the period commencing 01 October 2003 through 30 September 2004 with a provision of four one-year option periods. The contractor shall be responsible for providing all personnel, equipment (other than those items that will be government furnished), tools, materials, supervision and other items or services necessary for performing operation of (7) Postal Service Centers and Base Information Transfer Centers at Lackland AFB, Lackland Annex and Kelly USA. The NAICS code applicable to this requirement is 491110. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business. Solicitation will be posted on EPS, on 25 July 03 and this will be the only means of obtaining it.A site visit will be held tentatively, on 15 Aug 03. Please see instructions for this site visit on page 8 of 81 of the RFP. Due to limited seating, participation will be limited to two (2) representatives per organization. Recommend one technical and/or business representative. Should the number of interested participants exceed the capacity of the room and to ensure an effective interchange the Government reserves the right to restrict the number of industry participants. Nothing said or implied during the site visit, shall be construed to commit the Government to any further action or particular course of action on this initiative. Furthermore, nothing said or implied during this process shall in any way obligate the Government to contract with or otherwise enter into any agreement with any particular industry participant or participants. Any actions taken by an industry participant, or any resources expended by an industry participant as a result of this site visit, are solely at the risk and expense of the participant.
