Description: The Department of Transportation, Federal Motor Carrier and Safety Administration (FMCSA), 400 7th Street SW, MC-MBA, Washington, DC 20590, intends to award a sole-source grant to Operation Respond Institute Inc. to design, build, and demonstrate the benefits of a hazardous materials incident detection, management and response system to include the expansion of the proprietary Operation Respond network. The contractor will also establish a National first responders emergency services network and accelerate deployment of Operation Respond proprietary software. The Request for Applications is not available to the public. The period of performance with be a base year, with four, one-year options. *See note 22*
