- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make multiple awards for the provision of Comprehensive Medical Services for the Federal Detention Center in Miami, Florida. Services to be provided shall include inpatient/outpatient hospital services, inpatient/outpatient physician services, and outpatient institution services. The contract type is a firm, fixed price indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity and requirements contract. The contract period shall consist of a base period from date of award through September 30, 2004, with four 12 month option periods for renewal. The estimated quantities for the base period are as follows: 60 inpatient days and 225 out patient visits. The estimated quantities for each option period are as follows: 100-120 inpatient days and 300 outpatient visits. The solicitation will be available on or about July 31, 2003, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration?s Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that you have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of proposals is on or about September 30, 2003. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considred.
