- Description
- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to solicit a quotation, on a Sole Source basis from the College of American Pathologists, SNOMED International Division, 325 Waukegan Rd,Northfield, IL 60093, for a Multi-Site license to use "SNOMED", a data system nomenclature and classification of medical terms and codes in machine-readable format for reporting of cancer data from pathology laboratories for the period 10/01/2003 - 09/30/2004. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be utilized and an oral quotation will be solicited on or about 08/01/2003. Other than full and open competition is authorized pursuant to 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1). Qualified vendors have 15 days from the date of this synopsis to submit capability statements delineating their ability to provide this license. Information faxed to Shirli R. Wall @ 404-638-5456 will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a coompetitive procurement. No solicitation exists.
