- Air Combat Command (ACC) Contracting Squadron intends to issue a Request for Proposals, Solicitation Number F44650-99-R0007, for the operations, maintenance and support (O,M, & S) of Prepositioned War Reserve Materiel (WRM) stored in the Sultanate of Oman, State of Qatar, and State of Bahrain. Services also require the operation of a supply stock control function and contractor liaison office at Shaw AFB, SC. War reserve materiel includes bare base systems; medical; munitions; Tanks, Racks, Adapters, and Pylons (TRAP); Fuels Mobility Support Equipment (FMSE); vehicles; rations; Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE); Air Base Operability (ABO) equipment; and associated spares and other consumables at designated operating locations. This acquisition will be unrestricted (full and open competition). The SIC code is 8744, with a size standard of $5 million. This will be a cost-plus-award fee contract, with a phase-in period, base period of less than one year, and six options for one (1) year each. The anticipated release date for the RFP is 18 AUG 99, with a due date of 4 OCT 99. The RFP will be made available only on the Electronic Posting System website at http://www.eps.gov. Telephonic or written requests for this RFP will not be honored. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for updates/amendments to any and all documents.
