- Description
- Notice of intent to negotiate a sole source contract with Merkel and Associates for the office of National Marine Fisheries Service in Long Beach, CA. Purpose of proposed contract is for services to provide activities associated with detection and treatment of invasive alga Caulerpa taxifolia to be performed at Agua Hedionda lagoon and Huntington Harbour. These sites are known to be infested by this alga and this work will allow continued surveying of these systems to determine the efficiency of ongoing eradication activities. Merkel & Associates is charged with providing the continued on-going response to Caulerpa infestations under several funding sources that collectively provide the essential capacity for Southern California Caulerpa Action Team. This notice may represent the only official notice.This is a simplified acquisition with an estimated value of less than $100,000.
