- Description
- This project is a competitive Small Business Administration 8(a) set aside. Only qualified 8(a) small businesses will be considered for contract award. Scope of work: Idaho Springs Work Center gravel contract for Clear Creek Ranger District and the Nederland Bunk House road and parking recycled asphalt project for the Boulder Ranger District. Prepare sub-grade, supply gravel (Idaho Springs) or recycle asphalt (Nederland), haul, spread and wheel compact. Project Estimated Price Range and notice of 8(a) set aside: between $25,000 and $100,000. This project will be 100% set aside for SBA 8(a) small business concerns and award will be made pursuant to 41 U.S.C. 253 (c)(5) or 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(5). This is a competitive 8(a) set aside and only small businesses approved in the SBA 8(a) program will considered during evaluation of offers. Project Location: The Idaho Springs Project is located at the Arapaho National Forest, Idaho Springs Work Center. Exit Interstate 70 at MP241 and The Nederland Project is located just north of Nederland, CO. From Nederland, go north on HWY 72 approximately 1 mile to County RD 128E, Ridge Road. At this intersection, turn east onto County RD 128E and go approximately ? mile to the Nederland Work Center Bunk House driveway which has an entrance just east of the Colorado Department of Transportation maintenance yard on the south side of Ridge Road. Legal description is T1S, R72W, S7 of the 6th P.M. Scheduled Site Visit: Please contact Suzanne Layne, Contracting Officer?s Representative at 303-567-3028 to schedule a site visit for this project. Estimated Start of Work Date: September 15, 2003; this start work date is approximate and could be negotiable with the successful offeror after contract award; Scheduled Contract Completion Time: 21 calendar days.
