- Description
- The Government intends to award a contract for Paramedic Services at Beale AFB, California. Services shall be required 24-hours per day, 7-days per week, 365 days per year. Services to be provided include labor of Certified Paramedics only. All vehicles, materials, supplies, and assisting personnel shall be provided by the 9th Medical Group at Beale AFB, Yuba County, California. Offerors shall provide verifiable evidence of individuals’ licenses, certifications, and any other registrations necessary to document compliance with the requirements to practice as a Certified Paramedic in the State of California. Offerors are put on notice of the requirement to obtain authorization from the Yuba County Board of Supervisors to perform services within Yuba County, IAW Yuba County Ordinance Code, Chapter 6.05. The contract period shall be for one Base Year with four (4) one-year options. This solicitation is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NACIS) code is 621399. The small business size standard is $6 million annual gross income. The entire solicitation will be released solely on the Electronic Posting System (EPS), www.eps.gov, (paper copies will not be available). Prospective offerors interested in submitting a proposal for this solicitation should call the Contracting Office at (530) 634-2868 or e-mail ricardo.vasquez@beale.af.mil and register as an interested party. Include your company name, address, telephone number, and point of contact; fax number, and e-mail address. All prospective offerors are responsible to visit the EPS frequently and obtain any amendments or other information pertaining to this solicitation. The RFP and all attachments will be posted in compressed (zipped) Microsoft Word and Excel documents. A free evaluation version of WinZip can be obtained from http://www.winzip.com/winzip/download.htm. Tentative date for solicitation release is 18 Jun 03. The deadline for receipt of proposals is tentatively 22 Jul 03. A pre-proposal conference is tentatively scheduled for 25 Jun 03. The Past Performance Information required by the RFP is due 30 Jun 03. Any changes to solicitation documents by offerors will render them invalid. Proposals containing any changes will be rejected. Contractors must be registered in the Centralized Contractor Registration in order to receive a contract award from any DOD activity. Contractors may access the CCR at http://ccr.edi.disa.mil.
