Description

Project YTPM 97-0090, Repair/Replace Security Fence Flightline, Westover Air Reserve Base, Chicopee, MA. The scope of work consist of (1) removing existing fence and gates, (2) installing new fence, (3) installing new automatic gates with card reader system, (4) installing personnel gates with mechanical locks and (5) performing minor fence repairs. This project is being solicited in accordance with Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The small business size standard applicable to this project is $12,000,000.00 and the NAICS (North American Industry Classification System) Code is 238990. Bid issue will be on 25 July 2003 with a due date for submission of bids on 3 Spetember 2003. Performance period will be 90 calendar days from date of issuance of the Notice to Proceed. The estimated cost of construction is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. All requests to be placed on the bidders list must be done by mail, fax or e-mail, telephone requests will not be honored. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be provided. A complete copy of the solicitation will be provided on a C-D ROM disc. Plans and specifications will be available for examination at the 439 CONF/LGC Office, 250 Airlift Drive, Westover Air Reserve Base, Chicopee, MA 0122-1536.*****
