- Description
- This procurement is to rent 65(ea) 4 door, compact sedans with fully functioning air conditioning for the period of 19 July 2003 through 30 July 2003. Vehicles must be cleaned and serviced no later than 0900 the morning of 19 July and delivered to the Tyndall AFB commercial entry control point. Vehicles will be returned fully fueled and ready for pickup at the same point they were dropped off. There must be no penalty for early return of rented vehicles. This procurement is IAW specifications identified in the solicitation. A firm-fixed price contract award is contemplated. This action will be unrestricted. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 532111 with a small business size standard of $21,500,000.00. It is anticipated the solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 8 Jul 2003 on the Federal Business Opportunities web page at http://www.fedbizops.gov. Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for award. Information concerning CCR registered requirements may be viewed via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov or by calling the CCR Registration Center at 1-888-227-2423. The government reserves the right to evaluate and give evaluation credit for proposed features that exceed either the stated thresholds or objectives. The lowest price may not necessarily receive the award; likewise, the highest technically rated offer may not necessarily receive the award.
