- Description
- The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Region 6, Olympic National Forest, is issuing a Request for Quote for Road 2190 M.P. 5.8, a construction project. This project entails staking, clearing and grubbing, excavation and embankment, excavation and haul of excess material, soil erosion and pollution control, placement of geotextile materials, placement of class 5 riprap, placement of surfacing materials, reconditioning of roadbed, mobilization, installation of 1800-mm culvert, reconditioning of drainage structures, seeding and mulching and placement of delineators. The project location is on the 2190 Road of the Pacific Ranger District of the Olympic National Forest, Section 3, Township 23 North & Section 34, Township 24 North, range 10 West, W.M., near Quinault, Washington. This acquisition will be advertised as a full and open competition Commercial Items Request for Quote in accordance with FAR Part 12. The magnitude of construction is between $25,000 and $100,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 23710 with a size standard of $28.5 M. The awardee will be required to submit payment protection, such as a payment bond. Davis-Bacon Wage Determination Rates apply to this acquisition. Solicitation R6-OLY-3-26-O will be available for downloading on or about July 21, 2003, with quotes due on or about August 5, 2003.
