- Description
- This is an amendment to the previous announcement. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (DSCP) is seeking proposals from business entities interested in participating in an acquisition plan for identification markers. Total estimated annual purchase will be approximately $169,000.00 a year with a posibility of 4 option years. Prospective contractors will be required to implement an on-line Electronic Order Entry (EOE) system and a Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) capability. Proposed contract will require the contractor to store material and ship within the Uniform Material Movement and Issue Priority System (UMMIPS). Subject solicitation will be issued on a small business set-aside basis. Solicitation SP0560-03-R-0166, including a complete list of items is expected to be issued July 22, 2003 with an estimated closing date of September 2, 2003. To be responsive to the solicitation all offers are required to be provided in both an electronic media format copy and a hard copy. The electronic media format copy will be predefined by the government and provided upon release of solicitation. Offers not provided in the predefined electronic media format copy will be considered non-responsive offers. Currently, the government only intends to accept electronic media offers submitted using Excel spreadsheets. Required Central Contractor Registration applies. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offer ineligible for award.
