Description
The United States Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center has an emergency requirement to overhaul NSN 4320-12-302-7121, Rotary Pump, part number 520-9013-D-1, quantity, 2 each, Manufacturer: Sulzer Escher-Wyss. Delivery shall be F.O.B. Destination, USCG Engineering Logistics Center, Receiving Room, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD 21046. NOTE: NO DRAWINGS, SPECIFICATIONS OR SHCEMATICS ARE AVAILABEL FROM THIS AGENCY. It is the Government?s intention to solicit and award a purchase order to Wartsilla NSD, 2900 S.W. 42nd Street, Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33312. Interested sources that possess the capabilities of obtaining the required technical, engineering and manufacuting data from Sulzer Escher-Wyss, and posses the capabilities of overhauling these pumps can submit information regarding capabilities. This information must include (1) complete and current engineering data to demonstrate the acceptability of the offered part(s) (i.e. salient physical, functional, and serviceability characteristics), (2) data that the offered part(s) have been satisfactorily overhauled for the Government or the OEM. All responsive sources are invited to express their interest and ability to perform the above described overhaul, via fax in writing to Mrs. Scandaliato, no later than July 14, 2003. The submission of this data for review shall not impede award of this purchase order. The Government does NOT intend to pay for information solicited. Award of this requirement shall be made no later than April 14, 2003. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which if timely received, shall be considered by this agency. The due date for submission of quotations shall be no later than April 14, 2003. See Numbered Notes 22 and 26. This synopsis is issued pursuant to FAR 6.203-1 and TAM 1206.302. ATTENTION: Minority, Women-Owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE's)! The Department of Transportation (DOT), Short Term Lending Program (STLP), offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
