- Description
- This publication is a correction of a previous notice of intent to publicize an RFP to acquire training services. The new notice should be read as follows: USAID/Guinea intends to publicize an RFP to acquire training services in order to organize two (2) 4 weeks training courses in the United States which will focus on 1.“Microfinance" 2. "Agricultural Marketing”. This custom made training will be provided to respectively 6 and 5 participants from two local NGOs (PRIDE/Finance & ACA) involved in microfinance/micro enterprise and agricultural activities in Guinea. The topics to be covered during the training include but are not limited to: Strategic planning for microfinance organizations, Principles of good governance, Financial management for microfinance organizations, Agricultural marketing tools and techniques, Advertising techniques and applications to agricultural marketing. In addition, the training should include field visits to microfinance institutions as well as to agricultural marketing companies. Contractor will be requested to provide training courses as well as logistical support(Travel arrangements, lodging, etc…) and administrative arrangements. Tentative period of performance is August, 2003. The solicitation number will be 675-03-07 and a Request for Proposals (RFP) will be released on or about May 22, 2003.
