Description

This is a pre-solicitation notice for an anticipated procurement for a construction project entitled ?Renovations to Bldg 624, NAS Pensacola, FL. The NAICS will be 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. The small business standard is $28,500,000.00. The construction range for this project is: $3,000,000 - $4,500,000. The solicitation will be issued on an UNRESTRICTED basis as a Request for Proposal in accordance with the requirements designated by FAR 15.2 for a negotiated procurement, utilizing Advisory Multi-Step Process. The initial phase (Phase I) solicitation will be issued 15 days from publication of this pre-solicitation. Phase I will require offerors to submit criteria for Past Performance, Technical Qualifications, Scheduling and Small Business Subcontracting Effort. To obtain Phase I solicitation, offerors must register on the internet at http://www.esol.navfac.navy.mil . Phase I of the solicitation will only be available on this website. Additional instructions will be provided on the web page. Contractors should register as plan holders for notification of amendments to the solicitation. Amendments will be available for downloading from the NavFac website. This will be the only method of distributing amendments; therefore, it is the offeror?s responsibility to check the website periodically. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (07-FEB-2003). IT ACTUALLY FIRST APPEARED ON THE FEDBIZOPPS SYSTEM ON 03-JUL-2003.
