- Description
- The FISC Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to acquire, on a 100% Small Business-Set Aside basis, an Information and Referral (I&R) Marketing Volunteer Program Coordinator in support of the Fleet Family Support Center (FFSC) at Naval Air Station (NAS), Meridian, MS. This acquisition will be processed in accordance with FAR Part 12, as a commercial items acquisition, using Subpart 13.5 test program procedures. As an I&R Marketing Volunteer Program Coordinator, the contracted individual shall develop, produce, coordinate, update and disseminate knowledge and information via printed materials; meetings, briefings, workshops and other presentations; press releases and news articles; static displays; and audio and video materials. This individual will be required to develop, maintain and implement these services to target, reach and educate command leadership and the Navy community on the FFSC. The Contractor shall also organize various volunteer functions, including developing a network for volunteers to interact, supervise and train volunteers and ensure all volunteers receive recognition for their services. A forty-hour workweek is required. Normal working hours are 0800-1630, Monday through Friday. A firm-fixed price contract is anticipated, with a one-year base period of performance and four one-year option periods, beginning 01 October 2003. This solicitation shall be set aside 100% for small businesses. The applicable NAICS code is 624190. Release of the RFQ (Request For Quote) will be via the Internet. Interested parties may download the RFQ (Request For Quote) upon its issuance from the following website: http://www.neco.navy.mil. It is imperative that interested parties review the NECO website frequently for any updates and/or amendments. The Request for Quote is expected to be issued on or about 01 August 2003.
