Description
This solicitation will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about July 17, 2003 with a bid opening date of approximately 21 days following issuance. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND TELEPHONE REQUESTS OR FAX REQUESTS FOR THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Description: REMOVE UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANK, BUNKER HILL MUSEUM, BOSTON NATIONAL HISTORICAL PARK, BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS. Solicitation Number Q1720030514. The work to be performed is to remove and dispose of a 5000 underground storage tank under the sidewalk, in a vault at the Bunker Hill Museum, located opposite the main entrance stairway to the Bunker Hill Monument. The tank must be cleaned and legally disposed of. Project includes removal of approximately 850 gallons of fuel in tank, disassembly and remove tank through cellar exit of Bunker Hill Museum. Also cleaning the concrete floor under where tank is located. The project includes securing all required state and local permits and making all required notifications. Remediation of Hazardous Waste including fuel-contaminated soil is not required as part of this contract. The National Park Service anticipates entering into a firm fixed-price contract as a result of this solicitation. This acquisition is subject to Public Law 100-656, Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program and is open to all concerns regardless of size. The NAICS code for this project is 238910 with a small business size standard of $12.0 million. The contract performance period is 45 calendar days following Notice to Proceed. In accordance with FAR Section 36.204, the estimated price range for this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. Contractors are urged to make a visit to ascertain existing work conditions.
