- Description
- Purpose of this synopsis modification is to extend the solicitation date indefinitely. Requirement for the manufacture of new C-5 Torque Shelf Panels, numbers 1-9. The anticipated contract will be a Firm Fixed-Price Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Requirements for a period of Five years (One year basic period w/four-one year option periods). A description of the requirement is as follows: Panel #1, NSN 1560-01-479-1246UC, P/n: 4F41238-293; *Panel #2, NSN 1560-01-479-9751UC, P/n: 4F41238-291C; Panel #3, NSN 1560-01-478-9136UC, P/n: 4F41238-101D; Panel #4, NSN 1560-01-479-0468UC, P/n: 4F41173-719A; *Panel #5, NSN 1560-01-479-1259UC, P/n: 4F41173-707A; Panel #6, NSN 1560-01-478-9750UC, P/n: 4F41173-667C; Panel #7, NSN 1560-01-478-9753UC, P/n: 4F41230-103C; *Panel #8, NSN 1560-01-478-9749UC, P/n: 4F41230-471A; and Panel #9, NSN1560-01-479-0191UC, P/n: 4F41230-104C. The Minimum contract order quantity for the basic year will be 84 each, which includes 3 First Articles (*), and a combination of panels #1-9, and the Maximum contract order quantity for the basic year will be 171 each, which includes 3 First Articles (*), and a combination of panels #1-9. The total Minimum contract order quantity for option year periods will be 120 each, and the Maximum will be 531 each. Government furnished drawings, specifications, and tooling are available. The approximate RFP issue date is 28-Feb-2003, with a response date of 28-Mar-2003. This requirement is will be solicited under full and open competition. Only written or faxed responses received directly from a requestor are acceptable. No telephone requests.
