- Description
- Solicitation is for services to collect and destroy sensitive documentation from two VA Hospitals. Contractor will be required to comply with Privacy Act and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) conditions. Estimated total to destroy will be 120 tons per year. Paper will remain government property until all printed information is rendered illegible, at which time it will be available for contractor recycling. A Business Associate Agreement (under HIPAA) will be required, as will membership in the National Association for Information Destruction.
