- Description
- Contractor shall provide all labor, transportation, materials, equipment, and supervision required to perform complete grounds maintenance and related services at the VA Medical & Regional Office Center, located at 1601 Kirkwood Highway in Wilmington, Delaware. The work includes, but is not limited to, mowing, edging and trimming, weeding, mulching, fertilizing and spraying, soil testing, irrigating flower beds and lawn areas, cultivating and aeration, outside insect and disease control, and seeding of up to 20,000 sq ft of lawn. The contract will begin on 10/1/2003 through 9/30/2004 with two option years all subject to the availability of funds. Electronic solicitations will be available on the internet o/a 7/17/03. Contractors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining all amendments. Interested parties are required to submit prices and clear and convincing data substantiating their qualifications to satisfy this requirement. Quotations are due by the close of business on August 18, 2003 and should be mailed to the Contracting Officer (542/90C), VAMC, 1400 Black Horse Hill Road, Coatesville, PA 19320. Electronic offers will not be accepted. See Numbered Note 1.
