- Description
- Successful quoter will be required to provide all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, and materials for the complete construction of the utility systems and pumphouse for Paint Creek Campground in accordance with all drawings, specifications, terms, and conditions. Project work will include the following: selective demolition, including abandonment of exisiting well; related site work, including clearing, grubbing, site grading, trenching, backfilling, and mulching; construction and testing of a new water well (approx. 200 ft deep); completion of pumphouse building (125 sq. ft); construction of water treatment system and water distribution system for three hydrants; construction of sewage disposal system for host campsite; construction of secondary electrical system, including meter base, service panel, well pump and controls, pumphouse electrical, host campsite electrical, and light fixtures at each of two vault toilets; and telephone service to the host campsite. Work is NOT expected to include removal of existing vault toilets, construction of new vault toilets or rehabilitation of existing campsites. NAICS Code is 237110; this project is subject to unrestricted competition under the SMALL BUSINESS COMPETITIVENESS DEMONSTRATION PROGRAM. Estimated Price Range is between $25,000 and $100,000. Award will be made to the contractor whose quotation is determined to be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. Contract time is 240 days from the effective date of the Notice to Proceed. Solicitations are expected to be available electronically on or around July 18, 2003. Quotations will be due Close of Business, August 19, 2003 at the Cherokee National Forest Supervisor's Office, 2800 N. Ocoee Street, Cleveland, TN 37312.
