Description

The intent of the contract is to provide for the routine and reoccurring maintenance of the Forest developed road system, and administrative use road system within the boundaries and jurisdiction of the Fremont-Winema National Forests. Bid Item 1-Chemult Ranger District, Bid Item 2-Chiloquin Ranger District, Bid Item 3-Klamath Ranger District, Bid Items 4-6 Forest Wide. Work on all Bid Item areas may occur simultaneously. Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies, and perform all work required to maintain the facilities in accordance with drawings and specifications of the contract. The Contractor shall assume all risk, loss, damage, or expense arising out of prosecution of the work, except as otherwise provided in the contract. Contract time will span FY 2004. The contract is planned to be a multiple-year contract which may be renewed at the option of the Government prior to the beginning of each of the next two fiscal yeas. The estimated start work date will be on or about October 1, 2003. Expected issue date is July 17 and expected open date is August 15, 2003. This is a total Hubzone Set Aside. The Government Estimate is $100,000 to $250,000.
