Description

Toothrock Trailhead Access Road - Offers are being sought for the reconstruction of a single lane gravel road to a double laned paved. The project is located in the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area of the Mt. Hood National Forest, and is approximately 30 miles east of Portland, Oregon, on Interstate Highway 84 at Exit 40, Multnomah County, Oregon. Work will consist of staking, clearing and disposal, excavation and haul, aggregate base, asphalt, guardrail, masonry work, traffic control, drainage, protection of utilities and revegetation. Estimated price range for project is between $250,000 and $500,000. Work is expected to begin on or about July 15, 2003. The contract time is 90 calendar days.
