- Description
- The VA National Acquisition Center will issue RFP 797-NC-03-0016 for the Department of Veterans Affairs=92 (VA) and Department of Defense=92s (DoD) requirements for Angiotensin II Receptor Antagonist (ACE II). VA and DoD combined have an estimated annual usage of approximately sixty-three million (63,000,000) tablets. However, estimated quantities for Indian Health Services and the Bureau of Prisons may be added to the solicitation later. Offerors must make available all package sizes and strengths of Angiotensin II Receptor Antagonist (ACE II) they have available, at the same price per tablet. However, at a minimum vendors must have available, or commit to make available, a bulk package of 250 each, or greater, of high usage strengths of selected drug. The contract period will be for one year plus four one-year option periods. The contract items will be distributed through the VA and DoD Pharmaceutical Prime Vendors (PPV). If offeror is not a manufacturer, a signed agreement between the offeror and the manufacturer must be submitted with offer and remain in effect for the duration of the contract period including option years. The solicitation will be available for downloading, on or about the issue date of March 24, 2003 from the VA Office of Acquisition and Material Management=92s (O&AMM) internet web site at http://www.va.gov/o&amm/busopp/sols.htm.
