- Description
- The USAID Regional Contracting Office in Budapest, Hungary intends to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) to solicit proposals for Croatia Local Government Reform Project II, through full and open competition. The RFP is expected to be issued by May 23, 2003. The overall objective of the project is to address the development needs of the local government sector as Croatia undertakes reforms that are required for European Union membership. The project will also prepare Croatia as it graduates from the United States Government Assistance and begins its work with the European Union in the general area of public administration. This activity is a follow-on initiative to the pre-existing Croatia Local Government Reform Project I implemented by the Urban Institute. The period of performance is expected to be 44 months starting on or about January 2004. Organizations expressing written (e-mail or fax) interest in this contract competition to Ms. Ashraf Soos at asoos@usaid.gov will be included in a list of interested parties attached to the RFP.
