- THIS REQUIREMENT IS 100% SET-ASIDE FOR SOCIALLY AND ECONOMICALLY DISA= DVANTAGED BUSINESS (SEDB) CONCERNS. AN ELIGIBLE SEDB CONCERN IS A SMALL BUS= INESS CONCERN EXPRESSLY CERTIFIED BY THE SMALL BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (SBA= ) FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE SBA'S 8(a) PROGRAM. FIRMS SUBMITTING PROPOSALS M= UST HAVE AN 8(a) CERTIFICATION LETTER FROM THE SBA. Construct the Airport T= raffic Control Tower and Base Building Renovations for Fire Protection and = Life Safety Modification, Charlotte/Douglas International Airport, North Ca= rolina, including, but not limited to provisions for a new Fire Alarm Syste= ms complete with associated electrical work, and associated mechanical/stru= ctural modifications; and all associated temporary systems, cleanup, protec= tion, testing, etc., required for a complete job. Contract performance tim= e is 90 calendar days. Magnitude of construction is between $200,000.00 - = $250,000.00. Estimated Solicitation mailing date is June 30, 2003.
