- Description
- The Marine Corps Systems Command intends to procure forty-three (43) Portable Inductive Artillery Fuze Setter (PIAFS) for use with the Multi-Option Fuse Artillery (MOFA) sole source to Alliant Techsystems, Inc.; 600 Second Street; Hopkins, MN 55343-8384 in FY03. The contract will include option(s) for an additional 389 PIAFS in FY05. This procurement supports acquisition of systems previously developed and tested by Alliant Techsystems, Inc. As the PIAFS developer and sole producer, Alliant Techsystems, Inc. alone has the unique specific knowledge of the system design necessary to satisfy the USMC requirement.
