- Description
- The Coastal Systems Station (CSS), Dahlgren Division, NSWC, Panama City, Florida intends to solicit International Industries, Inc., 407 Innovation Drive, Annapolis, MD 21402 on a sole source basis for 2 each iXSEA-Oceano Photonic Inertial Navigation Systems in surface housings and 2 each Flight Cases. International Industries is the sole iXEA distributor for Florida. Each system must be capable of accepting external, off-the-shelf navigation sensors (depth sensor, Doppler Velocity Log, GPS, and USBL acoustic positioning system) to operate as an integrated navigation system (INS), and must include the software to function as an INS. The systems must have these performance characteristics: 1) With GPS aiding: Position accuracy (latitude and longitude) of 0.02 meters RMS or better; roll and pitch accuracy of 0.01? RMS or better; heading accuracy of 0.01? RMS or better at 0? latitu de, and; 2) With Doppler Velocity Log aiding: Position drift of 5 meters/hour or less; roll and pitch accuracy of 0.01? RMS or better; heading accuracy of 0.02? RMS or better at 0? latitude. The data output rate for these measurements must be 100 Hz. The physical characteristics are as follows: weight 10 lbs or less; electric power in the range of 12-32VDC, 12 watts maximum @ 24VDC; size of 7?x7?x7? or smaller; mean time between failures (MTBF) of 30,000 hours or better. The system must include all the hardware and software tools needed to operate as an INS without the need for further development. iXSEA Corporation?s Photonic Inertial Navigation System (PHINS) is the only fully integrated system that meets these requirements. Delivery will be to the Coastal Systems Station, 6703 W. Highway 98, Panama City, FL 32407-7001. NAICS Code 334511 applies. SBA Size Standard is 750 emp loyees.
