- Description
- The U.S. Geological Survey, Design and Construction Section, Office of Management Services, has a requirement for construction services related to the re-roofing of the Physics Laboratory at the U.S. Geological Survey located in Reston, Virginia. Services include, but are not limited to, demolition, construction, materials, asbestos removal and disposal, mechanical, electrical, structural, and architectural design. Invitation for Bid (IFB) 03HQSS0016 will be posted on Electronic Commerce on or about July 23, 2003. Details may be viewed on the Department of the Interior Business Opportunities Web Page at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. The posted IFB will contain the uniform contract format (Sections B through M). Specific work requirements are set forth in the statement of work and drawings included as Attachments to the IFB. The statement of work and drawings ARE NOT posted at the cited website. A soft copy (CD-ROM) of the statement of work and drawings may be obtained upon receipt of a written request to the Contracting Officer. Requests may be submitted via regular mail at the address cited above, by fax at (703) 648-7901, or via e-mail to mrussell@usgs.gov. Requests must clearly state the company name, mailing address, point of contact, and telephone/fax/e-mail information. The estimated cost for this acquisition is less than $200,000.00. The NAICS code is 235610. This acquisition is UNRESTRICED pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. A site visit will be conducted and is anticipated to be August 6, 2003. The specific date will be set forth in the IFB. The period of performance will be 45 days after Notice to Proceed
