Description

The Contractor shall provide all services necessary to conduct surveys for lichens, bryophytes, and liverworts in project areas. Projects include primarily timber sales, fuels reduction treatments, and habitat restoration areas. The work consists of walking transects to search for non-vascular species, compiling species lists, and documenting BLM Special Status and Survey and Manage populations. This is a three-year indefinite-delivery, indefinite quantity services contract not to exceed $500,000. In accordance with Department of the Interior and Related Agencies Appropriation Act, 2001, Public Law 106-291, Contracting Officers from the Bureau of Land Management, Bureau of Indian Affairs, Fish and Wildlife Service, National Park Service and USDA, Forest Service are authorized to issue task orders against this contract. Project sites are located in southwestern Oregon. Estimated issue date is July 15, 2003. Estimated Start Work Date is September 15, 2003.
