- NA PROJECT TITLE AND LOCATION: Provide school bus service for Moffett Housing, Santa Clara County, Moffett Field, California. THIS PROCUREMENT IS 100% SET ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS. DESCRIPTION: The NAICS code is 485410. The small business size standar d for this NAICS code is $6 million. The Government will award a purchase order resulting from the Request for Quote (RFQ) that will be issued for this procurement. OBTAINING SOLICITATIONS: Contractors are able to download solicitations for Sacramento and San Francisco projects directly from the Corps web site. Solicitations are no lo nger available in paper copies and/or CD-ROMs. This solicitation is only available through downloading from the Corps web site. If amendments become available, they will also be available for downloading from the Corps web site. THE CORPS WEB SITE IS: http://ebs.spk.usace.army.mil. HOW TO REGISTER AS A PLAN HOLDER UNDER THE NEW SYSTEM : Separate registration is required for SPK (Sacramento) and SPN (San Francisco). Access the Corps web site. Select SPK (Sacramento) or SPN (San Francisco). Select ??????Register for Multiple Solicitations?????? and follow the prompts. The Corps restructured its web site on June 26th to allow contractors to download solicitations from this site. Plan-holders registering for the first time under the new system will need to establish a user name and password. Every individual responsible for registering his or her firm as a plan-holder will have to use the firm??????s user name and password. Plan-holders only need to proceed through the entire registration process o nce for SPN and once for SPK. With the firm??????s user name and password, registering as a plan-holder for future solicitations will be streamlined. Registered plan holders will be alerted via email when amendments are posted to the Corps web site. THIS SOLICITATION IS SCHEDULED TO BE AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD ON 14 Jul 2003. This solicitation will not be available in CD-ROM or paper mediums. DOWNLOADING INSTRUCTIONS: Access the Corps web site. Select current advertisements for SPN (San Francisco). A l ist of advertised solicitations will appear. Click on the desired solicitation number. At the bottom of the solicitation a radio button will allow you to download/view solicitation files. Select plans or specs from the drop down box and press ??????Go?? ????. This will take you to the next page, where the file name may be selected and downloaded. TO DOWNLOAD AMENDMENTS: Access the list of advertised solicitations. Select the desired solicitation and then click on the amendment number. At the next scr een, click on the file name and download it. All responsible sources may submit a bid which will be considered by the agency. IMPORTANT STATUATORY REQUIREMENT: Firms must be registered in the Department of Defense CCR (Central Contractor Registration) in order to be eligible for contract award.
