Description
NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals a re being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No. DAHA22-03-T-0027 applies and is issued as a Request for Quotation. This document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Ci rcular 2001-12. The Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program is not applicable. The following is a list of contract line items and statement of work. 1. Provide all labor, materials and associated costs to replace Aircraft Transmission Beam (1 ea) on the UH-60 aircraft 80-23474 at the Mississippi Army National Guard AVCRAD, Gulfport, Mississippi broken out as follows per location: Materials and Labor with Associated Per Diem Costs. Per Diem rate is based on the prevailing government per di em rates for Gulfport, Mississippi. The government will provide an adequate, safe, and secure work space/tool storage facilities for the contractor. The government will be responsible for depopulating the aircraft as required, prior to evolution and rep opulate/rig/checkout the aircraft as required after repairs have been completed. The contractor will provide on- the-job training to the government in both locations for the purpose of basic rework/repair procedures only and will not be certifiable. The contractor shall provide and install beams as specified above. Any repairs considered above and beyond this scope of work will be negotiated separately. The contractor shall have access to all technical publications, DMWRs, and all updates available at th ese sites. The government will retain title of and responsibility for the aircraft and all maintenance activities for the aircraft during replacement of both beams. The contractor shall complete this work within two weeks after receipt of notification to the successful contractor. The government will provide its own quality assurance representative for inspection and acceptance of the work. FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, Commercial applies. DFARS 252.212-7000, Cer tifications & Representations,Commercial Items; DFARS 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items. Within this clause the following DFARS clauses appl y: DFARS 252.225-7001, Buy American Act and Balance of Payments Program. DFARS 52.225-7000, Balance of Payments Program Certificate applies; and DFARS 52.225-7002, Qualifying Country Sources as Subcontractors applies. This is an unrestricted procurement.
