- Description
- NA The Department of the Army has a requirement for a Firm Fixed Price contract to replace HVAC pipe insulation, Buildings 1275 and 1276 at Hunter Army Airfield, Georgia. The period of performance is 90 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. The work shall include, but not be limited to the following: 1. Remove and dispose of existing HVAC piping insulation in each of four wing floor areas, per building. Each wing floor area consists of three stories or floors. 2. Remove existing HVAC fan coil air-handling units in each of four wing floor areas, per building. 3. Provide and install new HVAC piping insulation in wing floor areas. 4. Clean, repair, and reinstall existing HVAC fan coil air-handler units in wing areas. 5. Test and balance existing, and any newly installed, heating/cooling equipment in accordance with specifications. NAICS Code for this procurement is 238220; SIC code is 1711. Magnitude of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. This requirement is unrestricted. All responsible business concerns may submit an offer which will be considered. NOTE: Minimum of 5 years experience in the business of installing/repairing HVAC system is required. The best estimate for issuance of the solicitation is on or about July 17, 2003. This solicitation will be posted on the internet only. No hard copies of the solicitation will be available. Please do not send requests for copies to this office.
