- NA This is a Sources Sought Market Survey. The Wiesbaden Contracting Center, Germany, is seeking to identify additional sources to provide components and repair parts to support the following Theissen Targetry Systems which are located throughout US Army Euro pe (USAREUR): QTY 659 each - Stationary Infantry Targets (SIT), QTY 451 each - Stationary Armor Targets (SAT), QTY 51 each - Moving Armored Targets (MAT), and hundreds of other items of associated targetry equipment and computer control systems in use. Sp ecification: All components shall be new or rebuilt. When applicable, all items shall be in accordance with DIN, VDE regulations and/or Association numbers. All components and repair parts shall be IAW Theissen technical specifications and be compatible with standard Theissen type targetry equipment systems. A minimum commercial warranty period of one (1) year shall apply to all components and repair parts. A ten-year guarantee of availability of all components and repair parts for these systems. Due t o propriety processes, the components and repair parts for these systems have previously been procured on a sole source basis through THEISSEN Training Systems GmbH Am Falder 4, 40589 Duesseldorf, Germany. They are the only known firm with the knowledge, experience and technical data required to fulfill the requirement. All interested sources are requested to provide a synopsis of 5 pages or less describing how they can successfully fulfill the Governments requirements. A copy of their complete catalog of parts and components available to support this effort should also be submitted. There is no commitment on the part of the Government to award a contract as a resu lt of this request for information or to pay for the information received.
