- Description
- The purpose of this Sources Sought Synopsis (SSS) is to determine the feasibility of manufacturing a reservoir and valve used on the C5A/B escape slide. The reservoir and valve initiates inflation of the escape slide in the event of an emergency. The goal is to identify sources from which we can procure the reservoir and valve in order to satisfy current customer requirements. A maximum of 68 reservoir and valves will be required to support this aircraft for the next three years. For specific information on the reservoir and valve, refer to T.O.14S8-6-2, Change 2, and 4 April 2003. Interested parties should contact Mr Louis Sandoval, Equipment Specialist, 311 HSW/YAPSS, (210) 536-8603 for reviewing applicable TO?s. Accordingly, be advised that this is not a RFP and this SSS in no way obligates the government to award a contract. The government will not compensate any interested party, firm, or individual that may respond to this SSS. Formal responses to this SSS should be limited to two, 8.5 x 11 typed pages and should detail the experience and capabilities of your firm to perform the task outlined above.
